Please note we do NOT offer an exchange service for non UK Mainland addresses. Instead we will refund the purchase price of the goods (not delivery charges) and a completely new order will need to be placed.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund (minus the postage) or exchange within 28 days of receipt. Items must be unworn and in their original condition. You must include your receipt and/or delivery documents as proof of purchase. Please remember to state clearly if an exchange or refund is required. We can only refund the original card used for payment. Returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us. For your own protection we advise you to obtain proof of posting and retain this until we have confirmed receipt of your goods at our warehouse.
We offer free return Postage (from Uk addresses only), however you will need to take the goods to the Post Office yourself and obtain proof of posting.
HENRY JAMES SHOES reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are not returned to us in perfect condition.
We advise you to wear your new shoes/boots on a carpeted area before wearing them outside for the first time to assess comfort and suitability. Items will NOT be accepted where there are signs of wear.

In the unfortunate event that you think a fault has developed with your shoes you should in the first instance contact us either by email at info@henryjamesshoes.com or by telephoning customer services on 0800 876 6001. You should return the shoes via the Royal Mail using the freepost returns label included with your shoes to our warehouse clearly stating the problem. You should remember to obtain proof of posting. We will contact you within 15 days of receiving the goods at our warehouse.
We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear & tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal usage conditions, failure to follow our instruction (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our prior approval.
Please note that no leather shoes are guaranteed as waterproof unless they carry a waterproof guarantee such as GORTEX etc.
If you make a valid claim we shall replace or refund the faulty goods, including your postal charges. We shall have no further liability for such failure or defect.
Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Collect+ is a convenient way to return parcels via local shops stores trusted by thousands of busy people every day. There are over 3,500 Collect+ stores and most are open from early in the morning untill late, 7 Days a Week.
Simply visit http://www.collectplus.co.uk/henryjamesshoes to find your local collect+ store and obtain your returns label. Then print and attatch the label to your parcel, ensuring any outbound delivery labels are removed or covered, Drop off your parcel in-store, where you will be given a receipt and tracking code.
PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST OBTAIN A RETURNS LABEL BEFORE TAKING YOUR PARCEL INTO A COLLECT+ STORE. Collect+ will not accept responsibility for parcels handed into a store without a Henry James Shoes returns label.
This service can be used for parcels weghing up to 10kgs and includes online tracking and up to £40 insurance.
