Please note we do NOT offer an exchange service for non UK Mainland addresses. Instead we will refund the purchase price of the goods (not delivery charges) and a completely new order will need to be placed.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund (minus the shipping fees) or an exchange within 28 days of receipt of the goods. Items must be unworn and in their original condition. You must include your receipt and/or delivery documents as proof of purchase. Please remember to state clearly if an exchange or refund is required. We can only refund the original card used for payment. Returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us. For your own protection we advise you to obtain proof of posting and retain this until we have confirmed receipt of your goods at our warehouse.
HENRY JAMES SHOES reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are not returned to us in perfect condition.
We advise you to wear your new shoes/boots on a carpeted area before wearing them outside for the first time to assess comfort and suitability. Items will NOT be accepted where there are signs of wear.

You are reminded that we only exchange ONCE per order. A new order will need to be placed and the appropriate shipping fees paid should you subsequently wish to receive another pair. Returns for a 2nd time or more must be paid in full by the customer.
Non Mainland UK and International orders must be arranged by the customer and at your own cost.
1. Complete the returns slip at the bottom of your returns form and include with your goods.
2. Attach the freepost printed returns label provided to the front of your parcel and take the goods to the Post Office (remember to obtain proof of posting).
In the unfortunate event that you think a fault has developed with your shoes you should in the first instance contact us either by email at firstname.lastname@example.org You should return the shoes via the Royal Mail using the freepost returns label included with your shoes to our warehouse clearly stating the problem. You should remember to obtain proof of posting. We will contact you within 15 days of receiving the goods at our warehouse.
We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear & tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal usage conditions, failure to follow our instruction (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our prior approval.
Please note that no leather shoes are guaranteed as waterproof unless they carry a waterproof guarantee such as GORTEX etc.
If you make a valid claim we shall replace or refund the faulty goods, including your postal charges. We shall have no further liability for such failure or defect.
Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.
